So I will keep the memory of that spring afternoon pressed like freshly picked petals between pages that tell stories of old tales.

It was cold, the sparkling water. Light blue. The rocks bent and welcomed the light blue water, and we were welcomed too. Our two bodies were cold, knees pressed against our chests. The salt was slowly drying up between the hair strands glued to our foreheads. Drying slowly, just like flower petals between pages of heavy books.

Between the light blue of the water and the light blue of the sky was another, not so light blue. This blue was sparkling, just like the cold water was. A sparkling dragonfly.

The humming of the flowing salt water and the buzzing of the dragonfly wings were slowly being carried away by the same warm breeze that dried the salt on our faces. Our eyes sparkled as well, just like the water.

There were two too-full hearts amongst all that blue. The two full warm hearts quietly whispered their wishes and the two cold bodies were welcomed once again by the soft salt water.

The heavy pages now carry one more story. One of two warm hearts between light blue water and light blue sky, and the not so light blue dragonfly.
